On 22nd November, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E Mr. Sjachroedin Zainal Pagaralam met Ambassador of the Republic of Japan to the Republic of Croatia, H.E Mr. Keiji Takiguchi. The two sides dicscussed about bilateral relations between Japan-Indonesia and also exchanged views on bilateral relations between each countries with Croatia. Both Ambassadors also discussed some aspects of regional and international situation.
Ambassador Keiji stated that Indonesia is a close partner of Japan. In this regard, the government of Japan is doing the best efforts to improve bilateral relations with Indonesia, as well as to contribute to the welfare of Indonesians.
Regarding the relations between Japan-Croatia, Ambassador Keiji pointed out that Japan is putting efforts to contribute in the economic growth of Croatia by increasing Japanese tourists visit to Croatia.
Ambassador Sjachroedin expressed the desire from the Indonesian side to initiate cooperation with the Embassy of Japan to hold cultural promotion events with other Asian embassies in Croatia to promote Asia's economies and cultures in order to increase awareness of the Croatians.
