The Judicial Commission has launched an online public complaint receiving system through the Internet.
Members of the public can now file complaints with the Judicial Commission via the Internet at the website address: http://pengaduan.portal-kyri.com, according to Eddy Hary Susanto, head of the Judicial Commission's Judges Supervision Bureau, in a press statement received by ANTARA here on Tuesday.
The service was aimed at widening the commission's coverage of the public so that people did not need to come to the commission's offices to file reports or complaints, he said.
The number of complaints received by the Judicial Commission has continued to increase significantly, according to Susanto.
Up to January 2010, the Commission, an external supervision body of judges, has received 7,052 complaints from the public throughout Indonesia.
