“Review and Projection in 2015”, this is the main theme of the Consul General’s Roundtable on Protection, Legal and Consular Matters which relate to Indonesians in Australia held by Consulate General for NSW, QLD, and SA in Sydney. This Roundtable, which was attended by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP), NSW Police Force, Australian Federal Police, and Nicholas George Lawyers, discuss thoroughly joint efforts that have been made by those institutions with the Consulate General in providing protection, legal aid, and consular services to Indonesia citizens in NSW.

Following the discussion, the Consulate General and those institutions identify some field that may be improved in 2015 for the protection, legal aid and consular services, among others: (1) the dissemination of information regarding immigration and consular through the Consulate General website; (2) collaboration in the prevention of crime; and (3) education about the basic rules in Australia.
