?The Indocare Organization is a forum for the retired community who is of Indonesian descent and has been active in various social activities as well as promoting Indonesian culture in the State of New South Wales (NSW). On August 23, 2014, at the Peace Embassy Centre, George Street, the organization celebrated its first anniversary which was attended by community leaders of Indonesia and Australia in New South Wales (NSW) and Sydney Consulate staff.


The event was opened by remarks from the Act. Consul General, Nicolas Manoppo who expressed, among others, that the existence of "Indocare" as a forum for retired public employees and workers of Indonesian descent, is commendable in bringing brotherhood and harmony to the Indonesian community in NSW. In addition, the existence of these organizations also contributes to the harmonization of multicultural communities in the state of NSW.

The event displayed the Indonesian dance in the form of the Peacock Dance, Dance Yapong, Poco-Poco dance and the typical Indonesian nyanyian-nyaian song by the Australian and Indonesian society.
