2019 Indonesian Arts & Culture Scholarship


​The 2019 Indonesian Arts & Culture Scholarship (IACS 2019) programme will be conducted for 100 days, i.e. 7 April 2019 – 16 July 2019. The theme of IACS 2019 is 'Mozaik Indonesia'. Due to the limited space and the vast amount of interest in the programme, there will be a series of selection process.


The Government of the Republic of Indonesia will bear all costs, including return economic class international flight tickets, accommodation in Indonesia, course fee, pocket money, standard health insurance and local domestic flight tickets.


Please submit the required documents latest by Friday, 9 November 2018 to pensosbud@indonesianembassy.sg. Documents submitted later than Friday, 9 November 2018 will not be entertained. Note that there may be an interview conducted by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Terms & Condition


1)    Age between 21 – 27 years old with a high school diploma (at least)

2)    Possess high interest and talent in arts

3)    In prime condition physically and mentally

4)    Arrive in Indonesia one day before the Orientation Programme

5)    Must follow the whole programme

6)    Submitting the following documents:

  • A motivation letter;
  • 3 (three) passport-sized photos;
  • Copy of passport (with min 2 years validity);
  • Copy of academic diploma;
  • Copy of the latest valid health certification;
  • A letter of recommendation;
  • A personal signed statement, declaring the following:
    • The willingness to be subject to Indonesian laws and regulations during his/her stay in Indonesia;
    • The willingness to follow the facilities rules and regulations set by the organising committee and art centres;
    • The willingness to accept the facilities provided by the organising committee and art centres and stay at the designated accommodations;
    • Not to work and/or be employed for financial benefits during the programme;
    • The willingness to follow the travel arrangements arranged by the organising committee;
    • The willingness to participated in all the programme arranged by the organising committee and art centres, unless, during the programme, declared unfit by a qualified medical practitioner;
    • The willingness to leave Indonesia after the closing ceremony, at a date determined by the organising committee;
    • The willingness to pay penalty and to finance my own travel expenses, should I withdraw my participation during the course of the programme.

7)    The programme will be conducted in Indonesian Language. Basic skill in English is compulsory. Bahasa Indonesia will be an advantage.
