Indonesian Consulate General has participated on the Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS) at Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, January 15 to 17, 2012. This annual event has been organized by National Association for the Specialty Food trade (NASFT) since 1955 and it drew more than 25,000 visitors. The Consulate rent two booths that showcased varieties of Indonesian food and drink products.
 
This year, The Consulate was supported by PT. Kapal Api Global that brought their main products, such as chivet coffee, Toraja coffee, and Exelso. Besides that, PT. Kapal Api also brought different food products such as oat biscuit, ginger and green tea candy. The Consulate also had opportunities to promote different variety of tea that produced by PT. Gunung Subur and PT. Sinar Sosro.
 
Indonesia’s participation in the Winter Fancy Food Show is very important to promote Indonesian prime product in food and drink to get entry into the main  stream of American market. There are many visitors or buyers who are specifically looking for  premium raw and ready to eat products.
