Indonesian Scholarship for Master and Bachelor Degree Academic Year 2013-2014

​The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia is pleased to announce that the Indonesian Government has offered the scholarship for master and bachelor degree program in the various fields of study at prominent Indonesian universities for the academic year 2013-2014 for students from developing countries including the Republic of Yemen.

The scholarships will be covering:

  1. Settlement allowance of Rp 1.000.000,- equivalent to $ 104,- will be given upon arrival in Indonesia;
  2. While taking the Indonesian language course and preparatory program, the student will receive Rp 1.650.000,- equivalent to $ 171,- monthly (living allowance only);
  3. During the master program, the student will receive Rp 2.400.000,- equivalent to $ 250,- monthly;
  4. The scholarship will be provided for a maximum of 36 months period of study;
  5. A round-trip international airfare (economy class) from international airport of the student’s home countries to Indonesia, including local transport to the host university;
  6. A health insurance with a maximum of       Rp 200.000,- equivalent to $ 20,- monthly;
  7. Other expenses beside those mentioned above will be borne by the student.

The candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. ​Has Maximum age of 35 years old;
  2. Posses a bachelor degree or equivalent for master program;
  3. Has certificate and academic transcripts;
  4. Has passport or Identity Card;
  5. Has 2 academic recommendation letters;
  6. Has a minimum TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent;
  7. Has Medical Statement;
  8. Has nomination letter from government institutions;
  9. Takes nomination letter from the Indonesian Embassy in Sana’a;
  10. Signs a statement letter provided by the Embassy that will be ready to take the scholarships if accepted or the permission from job institution during the period of study.

The candidate must bring the requirement documents as mentioned at the Scholarship’s Manual Book to the Indonesian Embassy in Sana’a to acquire the nomination letter from the Embassy.

The candidate must complete the online application process at: , no later than end of April 2013 and the selection result will be published in the scholarship’s website ( and the Indonesian Embassy publication.
