Minister Sri Mulyani urges public-private partnership and gender responsive initiatives for One Planet

​During One Planet Summit in Paris, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani spoke in Making climate finance work for women on 11 December 2017, held at Quay d'Orsay, and on Panel-2 of the Summit under the theme of greening finance for sustainable business at La Seine Musicale in Ile Seguin, Paris. The Minister was accompanied by Indonesian delegation from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Indonesian Embassy Paris.

The Minister highlighted the importance of wider access for women in climate initiatives​​, including through budget responsive programs and budgetting. The Minister also put focus on transportation infrastructure. ​With regards to the Paris Agreement, the Minister reaffirmed Indonesia's commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Thus, it is significant to provide incentives for private sectors investing in sustainable business.
