Indonesian Minister for Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya, for Finance Sri Mulyani, and for Energy and Mineral Resources Ignatius Jonan will attend the One Planet Summit in Paris on 12 December 2017. The conference was initiated by President Emmanuel Macron to strengthen the commitment to the Paris Agreement, negotiated in COP-21 in Paris in 2015, then signed in New York on 22 April 2016. Indonesia's presence in the Summit will be an affirmation and encouragement to the completion of the negotiating process, operational procedures and operational guidelines of the Paris Agreement. In addition, Indonesia will also inform the achievements and progress of climate change control efforts in Indonesia. Indonesia signed the Paris Agreement on 22 April 2016.
