Colors of Indonesia show in Andorra brought Indonesian culture, from Balinese gamelan, to traditional Sumatran dance. 400 people attended the event at Auditori Nacional d'Andorra in Ordino on Wednesday evening (25/10). Andorran Foreign Minister, Maria Ubach Font, and Economy Minister Mr. Gilbert Saboya, attended the event. "Colors of Indonesia" was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Paris (accredited to Andorra), in cooperation with the Government of Andorra, and supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia.
Foreign Minister Maria Ubach Font in her opening remarks expressed appreciation for the good bilateral relations between the two countries that have been running for 21 years since 1996. FM Font also welcomed Indonesia's cultural show in Andorra.
Before the cultural event, the Embassy also held a business breakfast meeting in Andorra on Wednesday morning. Taken place in Andorra Park Hotel, the meeting was attended by 21 Andorran businessmen; CEO, head of Chamber of Commerce, representatives of companies, banking, and other businesses. The representatives from Bank Indonesia and investment office (IIPC) spoke in the meeting on Indonesia's macro-economy and the ease-of-doing-business process. (pn/ek)
