  • Oman Held Fun Run to Support 2018 Asian Games

    As one of 33 countries selected to support the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang, Oman held the 'Asian Games Fun Run' on 15 April 2018, from 4 pm to 6 pm.   • Indonesia Opens Registration to KNB Scholarship for Master and Bachelor Programs

    The Government of Indonesia has opened the registration to apply for the KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang) Scholarship to foreign students from selected countries. The KNB Scholarship started in 1992 and has admitted more than 1000 students from over 70 countries around the world. This year, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia is offering 140 master programs and 5 bachelor programs at one of 16 prominent universities throughout the country.   • Indonesian Dance from Aceh Rocked Oman Once Again

    After successful showings during the latest Muscat Festival which ended last February, the Ratoeh Jaroe dance seems to be gaining popularity among the locals. During the show last night, some spectators can be seen imitating the dancers' fast and rhythmic hand movements. Applauds and roars of encouragement can be heard repeatedly during the performance.   • Indonesia to Offer Darmasiswa Scholarship

    DARMASISWA RI is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relations with Indonesia to study Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia), art and culture in 72 universities in 2018. This program was established in 1974 as part of ASEAN initiative, admitting only students from ASEAN. However, in 1976 this program was extended further to other countries. Until to date, the number of countries participating in this program is more than 121 countries and organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) of the Republic of Indonesia in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
