Top Indonesian Architects are Coming to Oman

​​The Embassy of Indonesia in Muscat has brought some of the top architects in the country to the Sultanate for the upcoming BIG Show Muscat, which is being held in the Oman Convention & Exhibition Center from 12 to 14 March 2018. Airmas Asri, one of the leading architecture firms in Indonesia, will be participating along with the Indonesian Architects Week Exhibition.

Airmas Asri has already involved in numerous projects throughout Oman and the Gulf, such as the Tilal Complex in Muscat, Fishery Market in Taqah, Salalah Grand Mall, Musannah Resort, Sharjah Hilal Center in Dubai and Nabina Plaza in Doha. Meanwhile, the Indonesian Architects Week exhibition will make its mark in Oman after a successful run in Seoul's 2017 International Union of Architects Congress. Themed 'Architecture and The City: Indonesian Architects, Responses, Approaches and Processes', the exhibition aims to showcase the different creative approaches taken by 23 renowned Indonesian architects in facing the increasing challenges in Indonesian cities.

Aside from the exhibition, the Embassy will organize a business forum to promote Indonesian architectural works and porfolios. It will also serve as an opportunity for Omani property developers, building constructors and architecture consultant companies to gain better understanding about Indonesia's potentials and vice versa. This event will be held on Thursday, 15 March 2018, at Sheraton Oman Hotel (by invitations only).
