Dr. Sinyo Harry Sarundajang, Ambassador of The Republic of Indonesia to the Philippines, Palau and Marshall Islands on the 18th of April 2018, received the courtesy call of the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank, Mr. Bambang Susantono at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Manila, Philippines.
During the call, Mr Susantono briefed the Ambassador on the upcoming 51st Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting to be held on 2-6 May 2018 in Manila.
The Indonesian delegation to the Annual Meeting will be led by Minister of Finance, Ms. Sri Mulyani Indrawati (as Governor) and Minister of National Planning, Mr. Bambang Brodjonegoro (as Alternate Governor).
All 67 country members of the ADB are expected to attend the Annual Meeting, with a total estimated participation of 3.000 delegates. The purpose of the Meeting is to evaluate the performance of ADB during the past year, as well as provide guidance on administrative, financial and operational matters. At the sidelines of the Annual Meeting, various forums will be organized related to business, youth and the environment, which will also be attended by stakeholders from Indonesia.
