This type of visa is valid for a limited stay in Indonesia for maximum stay of 2 years.
This type of visa is valid for both gainful employment and for other non-gainful employment purposes.
This type of visa requires Visa Authorization from the Directorate General of Immigration in Indonesia. Please check Directorate General of Immigration’s website here for more detailed info.
To obtain Visa Authorization from the Directorate General of Immigration in Indonesia, applicant must have sponsor in Indonesia (company, entity/organization or individual) who will guarantee their stay in Indonesia.
Request for a Visa Authorization can be submitted to the Embassy, or directly to the Directorate General of Immigration in Indonesia by applicant's sponsor. Please allow ample time (days or weeks) for the authorization to be processed by the Directorate General of Immigration.
Once the Visa Authorization is approved, one copy of authorization will be sent to the applicant’s sponsor in Indonesia, and one copy will be sent electronically to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Helsinki.
The Embassy has the right to refuse an application and cancel the Visa Authorization if any false and inaccurate information found in the application.

(Index 311) Working as World Trade Organization (WTO) expert. Stay permit maximum 2 years.
(Index 312) Working as expert in various field. Stay permit maximum 1 year.
(Index 313) Foreign Direct Investor, with stay permit maximum 1 year.
(Index 314) Foreign Direct Investor, with stay permit maximum 2 years.
(Index 315) Participation in training or research. Stay permit maximum 1 year.
(Index 316) Undertaking education. Stay permit maximum 2 years.
(Index 317) Family reunion. Stay permit maximum 1 year.
(Index 318) Repatriation. Stay permit maximum 1 year.
(Index 319) Retirement. Stay permit maximum 1 year.
(Index 320) Working holiday. Currently valid only for citizens of Australia.
Requirements for visa application:
Completed Visa Application Form (download in .pdf here). Visa Application Form can also be obtained at the Visa & Consular Section at the Embassy, Mon-Fri, 09.30 – 12.30).
Original passport with at least 1 (one) year validity upon the intended date of arrival in Indonesia.
Copy of valid passport.
For non Finland or Estonia citizens, attach a copy of valid Finland or Estonia resident permit.
Two colored photo (3x4 or 4x6) with light background (preferably white), attached to the Visa Application Form.
Copy of round-trip flight (two-ways flight) or travel itinerary of your first intended travel into Indonesia.
Copy of Visa Authorization from the Directorate General of Immigration in Indonesia.

Incomplete Visa Application Form and supporting documents may cause delay or rejection of the visa application.
Applicant or their agent present the complete set of document at the Visa & Consular Service Counter at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Helsinki.
Application must be submitted between Monday to Friday from 09:30 – 12:30, except on Indonesian and Finnish public holidays. No appointment is required to submit your visa application.

To do so, please enclose a self-addressed return envelope (registered) with an attached stamp. The passport will be sent to the address specified on the self-addressed envelope.
