Mr. President,
I wish to applaud you for convening this important meeting.
I also thank the briefers for their insightful presentation.
Climate change is real. And it is happening NOW.
I was born in Semarang… a peaceful, coastal city on the north coast of Java, Indonesia.
It is located in a low-lying delta… and from the city's establishment in the 17th century, its coastal area has always been prone to rob flooding during rainy seasons.
