The 35th Annual Conference on the Law of the Sea and Ocean Policy will be held at Conrad Bali Resort and Hotel, Bali, Indonesia, on 22-24 June 2011. The hotel is located at Jalan Pratama Raya 168 Tanjung Benoa, Bali 80363, Indonesia.
a) Key Dates for Media Accreditation
10 June 2011 : Media Registration opens
20 June 2011 : Media Registration closed
22-33 June 2011 : Issuance of ID Pass
b) All media who are interested to cover the conference must register using the prescribed Media Registration Form.
c) How to register :
• Press card that indicates your affiliation and is valid until end of December 2011;
• Letter of assignment from the editor/executive of the media;
• A form of identification – KTP for locals or passport for non Indonesian citizens – that is valid for at least six months;
• A recent digital passport-sized photograph of yourself.
Please note that incomplete and late registrations will not be processed.
For successful media accreditation, an e-mail notification will be sent to confirm your accreditation together with a unique ID number. Successful applicants are to print and bring along a copy of the confirmation letter with the unique ID number to the venue (Conrad Bali Resort and Hotel) for registration on 22-33 June 2011.
3. Visa Requirement
Applicants who are not based in Jakarta are required to apply for a journalist visa at the nearest Indonesian Embassy/Representative Offices.
4. Collection of Accreditation Pass (ID)
Accreditation badges (ID) will be collected at the Conference Registration Desk at Conrad Bali Resort and Hotel, Bali, Indonesia on 22 June 2011 at 16.00-17.30 and 23 June 2011 at 08.00-09.00. ID must be worn at all times.
5. Room for Media
A room for Media will be located at Meeting Room 3, Conrad Bali Resort and Hotel, Bali and will be operational starting on 23 June 2011.

A few computers with internet access and WIFI will be available at the room. First come first serve is applied for all media personel who wish to use these facilities.
Refreshments and lunch boxes will be also available.
6. Accommodation and Travel Arrangements
Media representatives will be responsible for their own travel arrangements, reservation and payments of hotel/accommodation.
7. Customs Clearance Requirement
The lists of equipment must be legalized by the nearest Indonesian Embassy/Representative offices for importation and exportation purpose.
