Update on Mount Agung Activities 10 Feb 2018 (00.00-06.00 LC)

Activity Level: AWAS (Level IV) 

 

Visual Observation :

 

  • The summit was often covered by fog. A white thin smoke from the crater could be observed from the southwest, southeast and northern slopes. 100m high.  Wind blowed towards the east.


 

Earthquake:​

 

​Earthquake eruption : nil.

​Harmonic tremor: nil.

Earthquake blow: 4 times.

Low frequency earthquake: nil.​

Shallow Volcanic: nil.​

Deep Volcanic: 1 time.​

Local tectonics:  1 time (barely felt).​

 

Recommendation

 

Dangerous area, no activity:

​Within a radius of 6 km from the summit

- Outside danger-zone radius considered to be safe for any normal activity, be advised to remain vigilance.


Conclusions

The summit was covered by fog and could not be observed.
