The New Indonesian Ambassador-designate Visited The Secretary General of the Lebanese Foreign Ministry



?Beirut: Like any other customaries in the diplomatic protocol where a new designate ambassador of the sending state to give official visit to the foreign ministry of the receiving state, the new Indonesian Ambassador to Lebanon-designate, His Excellency Mr. Achmad Chozin Chumaidy pays a courtesy call to his counter-part Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon, His Excellency Ambassador Wafik Rahyme at his office in Beirut last Thursday (12/3). 


Accompanied by the political and consular secretary of the embassy, Ambassador Chozin officially introduced himself to Ambassador Rahyme as the new designate Indonesian Ambassador to Lebanon assigned by the Indonesian President, replacing his predecessor Ambassador Mr. Dimas Samodra Rum who already returned to Jakarta last January.  


In the meeting, Ambassador Chozin emphasizes his main mission is to continue and improving the bilateral ties between Indonesia and Lebanon in future to comes, particularly having seen that many field of cooperation are potential to be developed between the two countries.


“One of my plan is to go deeper in the cooperation of Islamic matters between Muslim scholars of Indonesia and Lebanon, especially in our side to promote and introduce the face of Islam in Indonesia which uphold values of moderation and tolerance”, says Ambassador Chozin.   


Welcoming the courtesy call, Ambassador Rahyme conveyed his highest appreciation and thanks and praising his confidence to Ambassador Chozin that his assignment in Lebanon will be fruitful for both countries. “The foreign ministry welcomes you in Beirut and put its high stance to support His Excellency’s mission into reality”, says Ambassador Rahyme.


After closing the meeting, Ambassador Chozin continued his courtesy call to the Director of Protocol of the ministry, Ambassador Mrs. Mira Daher at her office.
