Indonesia donates to the Syrian refugees in Lebanon

The Indonesian Ambassador in Beirut, Achmad Chozin Chumaidy, accompanied the handover of humanitarian aid to the Syrian refugees in Lebanon provided by AQSA Working Group (AWG) Indonesia. the Assistance is given in the form of 14 items of food packed in boxes and distributed to 140 families in the area. No less than 900 families is living in the camps. 

The Embassy of Indonesia in Beirut and the AWG Team has coordinated with the State Ministry of Refugees, technical information was obtained regarding the delivery of donations to the refugees in accordance to their needs. For the initial stage, AWG prepared as many as 400 boxes containing basic foodstuffs, such as rice, oil, canned tuna, and so forth. the group also assessed in further helping the syrian refugees.​
