Soccer Club Persipura, Jayapura  visit Changchun, China


Arrival of Persipura Team and journalists to the Changchun city, China on Saturday, March 6, 2010 has been warmly welcomed by football fans in the city. Some officials from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Official football club Changchung Yatai and Embassy staff also welcomed the team at the Changchun city which is temperature at that time around 14 C below zero.

Persipura visit to the city of Changchun, China  is in order to meet the club Changchun Yatai invitation to compete in China within the framework of Asian Football Champion League 2010 organized by Asian Football Confederation (AFC).  Persipura is an Indonesian Super League Champion 2008/2009 included in group F Champions League 2010 and must compete within a Home and Away System against Changchun Yatai. Changchun Yatai club is runner-up China Soccer League last year.

In the event that the game held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Jingkai Stadium, Changchun, Persipura team captained by Eduard Ivak forced to swallow before supporters with a score of 9 – 0. In the next Asian Champions League, football club Changchun Yatai, China will play against Persipura football club in Jakarta, which will be scheduled on April 28, 2010.
