Indonesian offers festivity for Baku in September 2018

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Baku will once again present Indonesian festivity for the people in Azerbaijan by holding the Third Indonesian Cultural Festival (ICF). The Festival will be held at Heydar Aliyev Palace on 13 September 2018 and at Fountain Square on 15-16 September 2018.

“The Festival this year will try to bring the best, the brightest of Indonesia to encourage a better relations between Indonesia and Azerbaijan. One of the best Jazz Musicians from Indonesia, Dwiki Dharmawan will once again entertain Azerbaijan, as well as other performers who will dance and play music for Baku", said H.E. Mr. Husnan Bey Fananie, Ambassador of the Republic Indonesia to Azerbaijan. The Ambassador mentions that there will be plenty of pleasant surprises and festivities waiting for everyone attending the Festival.

During the Festival this year, ICF will not only offer cultural performances but also economic potentials from several parts of Indonesia. Indonesian products such as Batik (Indonesian materials for clothing) and coffee will also be on display. 

The event also serves as showcases of the people-to-people relations between Indonesia and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani performers, such as students from the Azərbaycan Dillər Universiteti and mugham musicians will be participating in this event.
