VISIT VISA SINGLE ENTRY

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • This visa is valid for single entry with a maximum stay period of 60 (sixty) days.
     
  • Stay period may be extended up to 4 (four) times with 30 (thirty) days stay for each extension. Extensions are made at Immigration Offices in Indonesia.
     
  • This Visa is used for visits pertaining to tourism, family visit, social, art and culture, official government activities, non-commercial sports activity, short courses/training, business meetings, purchase of goods, participant or speaker at seminar, participant in an international exhibition, attend meeting of branch/representative office in Indonesia, transiting to another country, joininig a transportation mode in Indonesia, or carry out emergency relief work (natural disasters).
     
  • Visa Fee is paid upon visa application and is non-refundable.
     
  • Visa does not guarantee entry into the Republic of Indonesia. The decision to allow entry to the Indonesia solely rests with Immigration Officers at designated entry points.
     
  • Visa Applications must be sent at least 7 (seven) working days before planned departure. Exception only for cases of family emergency (gravely ill, hospitalized or death).
     
  • Finalise your travel arrangements after your visa application has been approved by the Embassy. 


 

REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL

  • Completed Visa Application Form.
     
  • Bank receipt or proof of fee payment.
     
  • Original and copy of passport with a minimum validity of 6 (six) months upon the date of arrival in Indonesia.
     
  • Copy of Greece or EU ID.
     
  • Current savings account balance statement (at least 2 month).
     
  • Return or continuing airplane ticket (except for crewpersons joining another mode of transportation in Indonesia to continue voyage).
     
  • No objection letter from sponsor.
     
  • No objection letter from parent not traveling with child.
     
  • Letter from Guarantor/sponsor in Indonesia (tourism visit exempted).
     
  • Flight and lodging (hotel) booking.
     
  • 2 (two) coloured passport sized photographs 4x6 cm.

     

    SPECIFIC
     
  • Supporting documents for the following purposes:

  • Governmental activities, business, conference, or meeting purposes, a reference letter from Greece-based institution and invitation letter from Indonesian counterpart.
     
  • Social or family visit an invitation letter from Indonesian-based family or friend.
     
  • Course/training activities and non-profit activity an invitation or reference letter from institution in Indonesia.


PROCEDURE
  • Send scanned documents in pdf format as mentioned in the requirements section to consular.athens@kemlu.go.id during working days with subject “VISA-your name". Incomplete applications will not be processed. 
  • Notification via email will be sent informing you that your application has been received. 
  • Application will be processed within 1 (one) working day after reception and the Embassy will notify you of its approval or rejection. 
  • If approved, you will be informed of the date to present the original documents at the Embassy on working days between 10:00 – 12:00. Further clarification through an interview will be carried if deemed necessary. 
  • If the documents sent via email are different from the originals, the Embassy will not issue the visa. 
  • Visa can be retrieved on the same day between 14:00 – 15:00.​
