The Update on Mount Agung Bali Activities


Mount Agung's eruption continues to increase. The level of eruption of the Great Volcano now rises from the phreatic to the magmatic phase (since the observation on 25/11/2017 at 21:00 WITA.). To anticipate all possibilities and risks of disaster, The Indonesian volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center (PVMBG) has raised the status of Mount Agung from level 3 to level 4/ the highest alert status) starting from 27/11/2017 at 06:00 WITA. 


Dangerous area is within a radius of 8 km from the summit and in the South-western, Southern, South-eastern, and Northern sectoral as far as 10 km from the summit.
