?The Embassy of Indonesia in Amman has participated the Al-Hussein Society 2014 Annual Bazaar event on December 12, 2014, at the Royal Automobile Club, Amman. The event was organized by the Al-Hussein Society for the Habilitation/Rehabilitation of the Physically Challenged, a non-governmentorganization (NGO) established in 1971 and engaged in the field of assistances to people with disabilities. The bazaar itself was an annual event as a fund raising activity where the profits would be part of the funding source for the society.
HRH. Prince Raad bin Zaid together with his wife HRH. Princess Majda Raad, who are stand as patronage for the event, doing a cutting ribbon procession on the bazaar entrance which formally initiated the opening, and also visiting all of 40 booths from various embassies and associations.
Utilizing two separate booths provided by the event organizer, Indonesian Embassy exhibited a variety of Indonesian products such as batik, silk scarves, clothes, accessories, handicrafts, as well as types of Indonesian cuisines such as chicken satay, resoles, and fried noodles .
According to the data,the most Indonesian products in demand by visitors were unique handicrafts such as wooden bowlsand plates, batik fans, key chains and other small trinkets. While the the most popular food was the chicken satay.
