Dire Dawa and Harar : The Embassy to Disseminate Information about the Indonesian Trade Expo 2011


Information Culture and Economic Section of The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia -Addis Ababa- visited Dire Dawa and Harar Chambers of Commerce and Business Association last Wednesday (September 14, 2011).

During the visit, Dessi H.Y. Imbiri, Third Secretary of the Embassy told the two Chamber and Business Association, Dire Dawa and Harar that the Purpose of the visit is disseminate Information about the Trade Expo and Further improve our relation between Indonesia and two Chambers.

In the meeting with Harar Chamber, Vice President of Harari Chamber, ato Junaedi said that Indonesia should provide support to Harari Businessmen who can make them interesting to come to Indonesia. This is done by some countries that have visited to Harar, such as Egypt and turkey which provide special facilities to entrepreneurs.

Dessi excepted to all the members of either chamber of commerce Dire Dawa and Harar to participate the Trade Expo in Jakarta, not only as buyers but also as Saller. Indonesia to import the raw materials of Ethiopia such as sesame seed, Black cumin seed, and leather, he added.
