Indonesia - Nigeria
diplomatic relations was established in 1965 with the Indonesian
Embassy in Lagos (moved to Abuja since 2008), while the Nigerian
Embassy in Jakarta opened in 1976. Relations between the two
countries to date runs well and continue to become stronger. This
is based on the fact that both countries are members of the NAM,
OIC, G-77, D-8, UN, anti apartheid, anti colonialism / imperialism
groups, and both are emerging countries.
