The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Windhoek invites Namibian business people, importers and buyers to The 31st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2016 from 12-16 October 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The theme of Trade Expo Indonesia 2016 is Trade with Remarkable Indonesia. The theme is selected to reflect the full range of products and services.
Trade Expo Indonesia has become one of the major gateway for introducing Indonesia's high quality products into global market, and opportunity for international buyers to see a showcase of high quality and competitively-priced product not only furniture but also textiles, garments, jewelry and apparel accessories, cosmetic, fashion, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, food and beverages, sports, chemicals, rubbers, paper, electronics, construction, information & communication technology, automotive and spare parts, households, glassware and giftware, herbal, cocoa, coffee, handicraft, essentials oils and many other items.
Last year, Trade Expo Indonesia successfully attracted more than 14.041 buyers from over 129 countries, including from Namibia, and generated in total trade transactions valued at US$ 909.31 million. The fact that thousands of buyers from many countries come to visit this event every year demonstrates a high commitment of our trading partners around the world; and also a solid prove that Indonesia is one of the potential and reliable suppliers of qualified and competitive consumer products.
With the participation of Namibian business people, importers and buyers will also be able to have opportunities in exploring Indonesia's economic potentials through business meeting with Indonesian business people and Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, including visiting Small Medium Enterprises Company (SMESCO) to learn more about Indonesia's SMEs. I trust that this visit will also serve our best interest in increasing economic and trade relations with Indonesia.
The Embassy will look forward to welcoming the Namibian business people, importers and buyers to see enhancement of trade and investment activities between our two countries.
