CUSTOMS REGULATION, DESIGNATED AIRPORTS AND SEAPORTS AND OTHER MATTERS

Upon entry to Indonesia, the Customs would allow a maximum of :

  • 2 litres of alcoholic beverages
  • 50 cigars or 200 cigarettes or 100 gram of tobacco
  • a reasonable amount of fragrances
  • An exit permit is required for persons staying over 6 months.
  • Most hotels use 220 volts, 50 cycles, and a two pronged round plug.

  3. Tanjung Pinang – Riau: Sri Bintan Pura
  4. Tanjung Balai Karimun - Riau: Tanjung Balai Karimun
  5. North Sumatera; Belawan and Sibolga
  6. Dumai-Riau; Yos Sudarso
  7. Padang -West Sumatera: Teluk Bayur
  8. Jakarta-DKI: Tanjung Priok
  9. Semarang - Central Java: Tanjung Mas
  10. Badung - Bali: Benoa
  11. Karangasem - Bali: Padang Bai
  12. Makassar - South Sulawesi: Soekarno-Hata

Please note that these regulations do not apply for foreigners/expatriates (including members of their family) who are assigned/based in Indonesia. Visa is required and should be applied
