Indonesian Fashion, Art and Culinary at the Crossing Culture Event of ISLT Tunis

Indonesian Embassy in Tunis participated in the 2nd Crossing Culture Event held at the campus of Higher Institute of Languages of Tunis (Institut Supérieur des Langues de Tunis, ISLT) on 3 March 2015. The event, which was organized by the Flags Club community of the ISLT in collaboration with several foreign cultural organizations in Tunisia and participation of some diplomatic representations, aimed to further promote the diversity of cultures and arts among the Tunisian general public.
The Indonesian participation enlivened the event with the Batavian dance of Masks performance and traditional cakes tasting. Couples of ISLT students paraded in Indonesian traditional clothes also jazzed up the show.
Among the diplomatic missions who took part at the event was Indonesia, Libya and USA. Several foreign cultural organization participated in the event among others the TOKE (Tunisian Organization of Korean Culture Exchange) and the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). [KBRI-Tunis/MYz]
