Press Card

 

Journalist/national and international media who intend to cover the Ministry of Forein Affairs activities (journalist/media post in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) must have a press card that is issued by Directorate of Information and Media Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The requirements are:

  1. Application letter from journalists News Agency/Editor to the Director of Information and Media Services
  2. Copy of ID/KTP/passport.
  3. Two coloured photographs (3X4 cm)
  4. Copy of press card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for prolongation of press card)

 

The requirements for press card making for foreign correspondent (foreign citizen) domicile in Jakarta:

  1. Application letter from journalists News Agency/Editor to the Director of Information ans Media Services
  2. Copy of passport and visa
  3. Copy of Work Permit (IMTA), Stay Permit (KITAS) and Police Registration Card (SKLD)
  4. Copy information letter stated his/her address in Jakarta from District Officials
  5. Copy of press card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for prolongation of press card)

Temporary Press Card

Journalist/foreign media who intend to cover/shoot film in Indonesia and has already collected journalist visa from Indonesian Missions overseas, must collect temporary press card in Directorate of Information and Media Services by submiting copy of his/her passport, visa and immigration stamp, two coloured photographs (3X4 cm) and Letter of Notification provided by the Indonesian Embassy/representative office where his/her visa issued.
