Passport Renewal / New Passport Application

Requirement:
  • For Indonesian residing in Singapore 
  • For Indonesian domestic worker woking in Singapore 
  • For Indonesian seaman working in Singapore 
  • For new born Indonesian baby (born in Singapore) 
  • For Indonesian residing in Singapore who lost his/her passport due to force major / negligence 
  • For Indonesian not residing in Singapore who lost his/her passport 


Processing Time:

  • The processing time of passport renewal is 3 working days
  • Submission hour is from 09.00 am to 12.00 pm (Monday - Friday, excluding Public Holiday) 
  • Collection hour is strictly from 03.00 pm to 05.00 pm (Monday - Friday, excluding Public Holiday)

Counter: Counter 1, Counter 2, and Counter 3 

Fees:
  • For 48 pages passport: S$ 35.00.
  • For 48 pages passport (replacing lost / damaged passport): S$ 70.00.
  • Payment by cash only.



Requirement for Indonesian residing in Singapore:

Indonesian residing in Singapore who wants to renew his/her passport must come personally to Immigration Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, bringing along the following documents:

  • Dully completed PERDIM 11 form, which can be downloaded here.
  • Old passport and one copy of old passport (first and the last page) 
  • Singapore ID Card and its copy (Work permit, Employment Pass, S-Pass, Dependant Pass, Student Pass, Permanent Resident)
  • Copy of birth certificate (in Indonesian language)
  • Copy of personal marriage certificate or parents' marriage certificate for applicant who is under 17 years old
  • For flight attendants, all of the requirements above must be completed with company letter stating that the flight attendant is to renew his/her passport.



Requirement for Indonesian domestic worker working in Singapore:

Indonesian domestic worker working in Singapore who wants to renew her passport must come personally to Immigration Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, bringing along the following documents:

  • Dully completed PERDIM 11 form, which can be downloaded here.
  • Old passport and one copy of old passport (first and the last page)
  • Copy of employer's ID card
  • Work permit and 1 copy of work permit 



For collection of domestic worker passport, a work agreement must be produced. The work agreement is issued by Consular Department (second floor of the Indonesian Embassy) after the domestic worker and her employer are interviewed by our officer. For more information, please click here.

Collection of domestic worker passport can only be done in the afternoon from 03.00 pm to 05.00 pm by:

  • the domestic worker herself 
  • the employer 
  • the spouse of the employer or family member who stays in the same address as stated in the employer ID card.



Requirement for Indonesian seaman working in Singapore:

Indonesian seaman working in Singapore who wants to renew her passport must come personally to Immigration Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, bringing along the following documents:

  • Dully completed PERDIM 11 form, which can be downloaded here.
  • Old passport and one copy of old passport (first and the last page)
  • Endorsement letter from the company (original and copy)
  • Work agreement letter which has been endorsed by Transportation Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore (original and copy)
  • Copy of seaman book (page 4, 6, and 7)
  • 2 copies of recently taken passport size photograph with white background (see photo requirements on the bottom of this page)



Requirement for Indonesian new born baby:


To make a new passport for Indonesian new born baby, either one of the parent must come personally to Immigration Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, bringing along the following documents:

  • Dully completed PERDIM 11 form, which can be downloaded here.
  • Father's or mother's Singapore ID Card (Work permit, Employment Pass, S-Pass, Dependant Pass, Student Pass, Permanent Resident) and its copy
  • Birth certificate which has been endorsed by Consular Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia
  • Birth certificate from Singapore Birth Registration
  • Both parents' passports and marriage certificate
  • Passport for new born baby is given only if one of his/her parents is residing in Singapore, if not SPLP will be issued instead.



Requirement for Indonesian residing in Singapore who lost his/her passport due to force major or negligence:


Indonesian residing in Singapore who lost his/her passport due to force major or negligence and wants to make a replacement passport must come personally to Immigration Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, bringing along the following documents:

  • Dully completed PERDIM 11 form, which can be downloaded here.
  • Singapore ID Card and its copy (Work permit, Employment Pass, S-Pass, Dependant Pass, Student Pass, Permanent Resident)
  • Copy of birth certificate (in Indonesian language)
  • Copy of personal marriage certificate or parents' marriage certificate for applicant who is under 17 years old
  • Statement letter from Singapore police mentioning lost of passport
  • Special pass from Singapore ICA (if Singapore ID card is lost as well)



NOTE: Singapore ID card includes Work permit, Employment Pass, S-Pass, Dependant Pass, Student Pass, or Permanent Resident.




Requirement for Indonesian not residing in Singapore who lost his/her passport:


Indonesian who lost his/her passport but is not residing in Singapore (tourist) and wants to return to Indonesia, must come personally to Immigration Department at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore to get an SPLP (Surat Perjalanan Laksana Paspor, an emergency travel document in lieu of passport).
