for the Opening Ceremony of “Youth Camp for Asia’s Future 2009”
organized by the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK)
It is a great pleasure for me to extend my heartfelt congratulations for the opening of the “Youth Camp for Asia’s Future 2009” organized by the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK) to be held on July 30, 2009 – August 13, 2009.
On behalf of the Government of Indonesia, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the NCYOK for inviting Indonesian youth to participate in this wonderful event together with other prominent young people of Korea and Asian countries.
I am very happy to see many youth of Asian countries join this camp which is very meaningful and future-oriented program to help young people build networking capacity with other Asian youth and to widen mutual understanding in promoting cooperative friendship and goodwill. I believe that the campers will experience many opportunities for self-development – development of body, mind and spirit - and will gain community awareness by sharing their dreams and thoughts with like mind new friends. They will also learn their responsibility and role by living and working together how to cooperate each other and how to contribute to develop good image of their respective countries, and eventually how to become a good member of international community.
I would like to encourage the young campers to experience a positive and inspiring way of life by helping each other so that this camp becomes a cherished memory and also to build a strong friendships with other youth to be able to last a lifetime.
I would like to express my appreciation to the NCYOK for its efforts to bring young people of Asian countries together to offer a great opportunity to challenge themselves to become motivated and balanced individuals as our future leaders.
It is my sincere hope that the NCYOK continues to support youth organizations to further build up strong solidarity among the Asian youth and to promote close coopeative relations to make a better world in the future.
I wish the NCYOK a great success and accomplishment in this event and have a lot of fun with all participants during the camp.
