Single Entry Visa

Business Visa

A single entry business trip visa is not a working permit and is valid if presented within 3 (three) months after the date of issuance. Sixty (60) days is the maximum length of stay that the applicant can apply for, however, this visa could be extended with the support of the sponsor in Indonesia. A Single Entry Visa is granted only for the purpose of conducting official government work (Diplomatic/ Service), business, social-cultural or leisure (holiday/tourist). The Government, Business and Social-Cultural visas could be extended in Indonesia. The Directorate General of Immigration will consider and granting the extension of the Business and Social-Cultural Visas, while an extension of the Diplomatic and Service Visa will be granted by the Directorate for Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For a certain purpose those visas could be converted into Temporary Stay Visa.

Visa Requirements

  • Original passport valid for more than 6 (six) months beyond the intended length of stay,
  • Letter of sponsor from the sending company mentioning the purpose of visit explaining the position of the applicant, the purpose of visit and duration of stay. If deemed necessary, a guarantee of the availability of funds to cover living expenses while in Indonesia.
  • Letter of invitation from the host company in Indonesia. Please note that a fax from the Director General of Immigration is not a letter of invitation.
  • Copy of round trip Right Itinerary/Electronic Airline Ticket
  • Visa application completed in full with 1 (one) recent passport size photograph attached to the second page of the application form.

 

Social/Cultural Visit Visa

A single entry Social/Cultural Visit is valid if presented within 3 (three) months from the date of issuance. It will be granted to conduct socio-culture activities (family gathering, education, sport, etc.) A Social Culture Visa could be extended in Indonesia and could be converted into a Temporary Stay Visa. Sixty (60) days is the maximum length of stay that the applicant can apply for, however, this visa could be extended with the support of your sponsor in Indonesia.

 

Visa Requirements:

  • Original passport, valid for more than 6 (six) months beyond the intended length of stay Letter of sending company
  • Letter of invitation from the Indonesian sponsor (e.g. the employer, education institution) and/or a similar letter from the institution/people in Indonesia, explaining the position of the applicant, the purpose of the visit and the duration of stay. If deemed necessary, a guarantee of the availability of funds to cover living expenses while in Indonesia.
  • Copy of confirmed round trip Airline ticket/ Electronic ticket.
  • Visa application completed in full with 1 (one) recent passport size photograph attached to the second page of the application.

 

Tourist Visa

A single entry Tourist Visa is valid if presented within 3 (three) months from the date of issuance. It is given to travelers who intend to stay in Indonesia on holiday/leisure purpose with a maximum stay of 30 (thirty) days. This type of visa will also be granted to persons who are employed in the tourism area (to arrange and accompany a tourist group, to promote tourism in Indonesia, etc). Tourist visa is not a working visa and cannot be converted into any other type of visa.

Please Note :

Tourist visa is also given to foreign nationals who wishes to make a short stopover (transit) in Indonesian territory and are on an onward journey to another country, to their country of origin, to join or work on a transport vehicle that will continue its journey outside Indonesian territory.

Visa Requirements:

  • Original passport, valid for more than 6 (six) months beyond the intended length of stay.
  • Copy of confirmed round trip Airline ticket/ Electronic ticket. Proof of entry and exit.
  • Visa application completed in full with 1 (one) recent passport photograph attached to the second page of the visa application.
  • If deemed necessary, a guarantee of the availability of funds to cover the living expenses while in Indonesia.
