The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has opened registration Indonesian Scholarship Program Darmasiswa Academic Year 2017/2018. Darmasiswa is a scholarship offered to foreign students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Indonesia, to learn Indonesian language, art and culture at 59 universities in Indonesia.
The Government of the Republic of Indonesia c.q. The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia will bear the costs, including stipend, the cost of accommodation and domestic transportation during the program, and settlement allowance. Prospective participants are expected to have completed secondary education or equivalent, active student, aged between 17-35 years old, unmarried, able to communicate well in English. To have an ability to speak Bahasa Indonesia is an added value. Prospective participants are also expected in good health and have basic knowledge on the subject they wish to study. The scholarship does not cover the cost of international round-trip flights and health insurance.
Prospective participants have to register online through http://darmasiswa.kemdikbud.go.id/ (required). Chosen candidates must attend interview at the Indonesian Embassy in Sarajevo which will be held on February 13 to March 3, 2017. The final results will be announced on April 7, 2017 and the program will commence in September 2017.
