?The focus of discussion was on opportunities for improving bilateral political and economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the two mentioned countries.

 

The main topic of conversation between dr. Lagumdžija and the Ambassador Casey was "UK - Bosnia and Herzegovina Investment Forum" which is planned to be held at the end of this year in London. With regard to that, the mentioned interlocutors determined that this investment forum is an excellent opportunity for the presentation of economic potential and investment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the development of overall economic relations between BiH and the United Kingdom. They also discussed the upcoming session of the General Assembly of the United Nations and the topics that will be on its agenda.

 

Dr. Lagumdžija and Ambassador Sujono expressed their satisfaction that the relations between BiH and Indonesia are very friendly, despite the mutual geographic distance, and they expressed the commitment to their further development, particularly in the economic field. In this context, they discussed the possibilities for the realization of the meeting of officials, which possibly could be followed by meetings of businessmen of the two countries, during which they could discuss about specific business projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure, tourism, and the opportunities investment firms from Indonesia in BiH.

 

During the conversation, the ambassador Sujono handed to Dr. Lagumdzija a letter of invitation from Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Martya Natalegawa to participate at the upcoming Bali Democratic Forum (BDF), which will be held on 8. and 9. November this year.
