Visa Exemption for Short Visit

​Effective from 2 March 2016, citizen from the following 169 countries/special regions who wish to visit Indonesia for the purposes of: governmental meeting, education, socio-cultural, tourism, business, or transit to other countries, do not need to require a visa for maximum stay up to 30 (thirty) days:

  1. Maximum duration of stay is up to 30 (thirty) days from the date of entry.
  2. Passport validity of 6 (six) months or more from the date of arrival.
  3. Return Ticket
  4. Not valid for journalistic purpose.

Please note that this regulation do not apply for foreigners/expatriates (including members of their family) who are assigned/based in Indonesia. In this case, visa is required and should be applied for beforehand.​
