Students of Blair Academy Visited Indonesian Consulate in New York

​​18 high school students and two faculty advisers from Blair Academy (A prestigious private boarding school in New Jersey) which participating in Columbia UN Model & Expositions (CUMNCE 2015) Indonesian Consulate on January 16th, 2015. This visit is part of KJRI Goes to School program aiming to promote Indonesia to world’s future leaders.

 

Acting Consul General who greeted all the students, was delivering presentation about Indonesia in general which included potentials and political system of Indonesia also Indonesian Consulate’s roles and functions. Within the dialog with the Acting Consul General, the students enthusiastically asked several questions related to democracy in Indonesia, differences in Indonesia, and how Indonesia handled changes into democracy era.
After the presentation, Acting Consul General invited all students to enjoy traditional snacks of INdonesia (Source: KJRI New York)
