Indonesian Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Yusra Khan has recently been elected as the Vice President of the Executive Council of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), representing Asia-Pacific countries. The election took place at the UN Headquarter in New York (9/1).

ASEAN Foreign Ministers agreed to intensify cooperation and follow-up several initiatives that were brought up and highlighted during Indonesia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2011. This was revealed in the ASEAN Foreign Ministers (AMM) Retreat in Siem Reap, Cambodia (10-11/1). Foreign Minister Marty M. Natalegawa led the Indonesian delegation at the meeting.
