Mr. Jauhari Oratmangun (Djauhari Oratmangun) was born in Beo, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, July 22, 1957. He received a degree in economics at the University of Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 1981.
Mr. Jauhari Oratmangun began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in 1984 and was sent to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia in New York in 1986-1990 and then in 1997-2001. In the period 1993-1997, he was sent to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia in Geneva. He served as Director of Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001-2002, then in 2002-2004, was appointed director on the economy, development and the environment of the United Nations. In 2004-2009. Mr. Oratmangun was deputy head of the diplomatic mission and charge d'affaires of the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague.
Prior to his appointment to the post of Ambassador of Indonesia in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus Mr. Jauhari Oratmangun was General Director of the Indonesian Foreign Ministry on cooperation with ASEAN (2009-2011 gg.)
