On 5-6 August 2010, Indonesian Ambassador accompanied by economy staffs from the Indonesian Embassy in Kyiv visited the Autonomous Republic of Crimea -Ukraine. During this visit, the ambassador held a series of meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, (Prime Minister) Vasyl Dzharty, President Chamber of Commerce of Crimea, Neonila Grachova and also met with the local businessmen.
During The meeting with Prime Minister Vasyl Dzharty, Indonesian ambassador discussed Letter of Intent (LoI) sister province between Bali and Crimea which related to cooperation in economy, tourism, culture, education, sports and health. Prime Minister Vasyl Dzharty says that Crimea would like to learn and exchange knowledge or experience with Indonesia in the sphere of shipping industry, oil, and gas.
Meanwhile, in the meeting President Chamber of Commerce of Crimea, Neonila Grachova both parties discussed about plan of visit of Crimean businessmen in Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) in Jakarta, on 13-17 October 2010 and a visit to various regions in Indonesia to meet with the local authorities and local businessmen to seek business and investment opportunity.
Beside series of meeting with the regional government official, Indonesian Ambassador also visited furniture company which imported Indonesian product, especially from Cirebon, Jepara and handicrafts from Bali.
