INTRODUCING NEW OFFICIALS OF INDONESIAN EMBASSY IN HANOI

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Aiming at creating and enhancing the sense of unity for the Indonesian community in Hanoi and the surrounding areas, on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Fortuna Hotel, the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi held a gathering to introduce new officials of the Embassy.
The event began with an introduction of Defense Attaché Col. Adi Susilo Purwantoro and his family, then the introduction of Protocol and Consular Officer, Counsellor Sadikin and his family, and staff of Information, Socio-Cultural and Economic Affairs, Third Secretary Ms. Cecillia Axel Toumahu. These new officials respectively introduced themselves and their families as well as provided some information on their new tasks and functions at the Embassy. They also expressed their readiness to take on new tasks and work with the Indonesian community in Vietnam in order to successfully fulfill their missions and contribute to enhancing Indonesia and Vietnam relations.
Indonesian Ambassador Mayerfas, in his speech at the event, said that the presence of the new officials in the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi is to serve the mission assigned by the Government of Indonesia and to help the people of Indonesia in Hanoi and surrounding areas regardless of their ethnic origin and family. According to Ambassador Mayerfas, this gathering event has created an occasion to establish a harmonious relationship between the Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi and the Indonesian society and among the Indonesian society themselves. Furthermore, it was also a chance to share useful information for the development of business and other tasks in Vietnam to bring benefits to the state and nation of Indonesia.
The Ambassador also informed to all guests attended that the Embassy was started to provide a hotline telephone number for all Indonesian people which could be contacted anytime. Ambassador advised all guests not to be hesitant in calling the hotline number, remembering and disseminating the hotline number to the Indonesian people who do not know or were not able to attend the event.
On this occasion, the Ambassador also introduced the Indonesian people in their respective fields such as representatives of Indonesian company PT. Semen Gresik, Java Comfeed, PT. Vietmindo Energitama, Ciputra, Indonesia and the people who work in the hotel such as Melia Hotel, Sofitel Hotel, Harbour View Hotel in Haiphong, and the Indonesian people who recently came to Hanoi.
The event went smoothly in a friendly and familiar atmosphere. After the dinner, the event continued with the karaoke session. The new officials of the Embassy and some representatives of the Indonesian people took part in the singing.
