Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah M. Hery Saripudin accompanied by a team from the Economic and Trade Functions has conducted a work visit to the Mecca Chamber of Commerce and Industry (16/7). The team of Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah was received by Act Secretary General of Chamber of Commerce, Ibrahim Fuad Bardesi.
On that occasion, Consulate General Hery officially invited the officers of Mecca Chamber of Commerce along with the entrepreneurs under Mecca Chamber of Commerce to attend The 32nd Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) exhibitions which will take place on October 11-15, 2017 in ICE-BSD Banten. TEI 2017 will feature more than 300 Indonesian products and services to be exhibited in seven popular product zones.
"Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah is ready to provide assistance and facilitation to the entrepreneurs who attend the event including by conducting a meetings with high-level officials as requested by the Mecca Chamber of Commerce". Hery said.
The Mecca Chamber of Commerce welcomed the invitation and expressed its readiness to facilitate the entrepreneurs that are interested to come. The Chamber of Commerce hopesthat Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah can do further promotion in the form of presentations to the entrepreneurs in Mecca Chamber of Commerce who are interested to attend the TEI exhibition, the time of which shall be determined later.
Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah is always committed to increase the cooperation with the Mecca Chamber of commerce especially after the visit of Mecca Chamber of commerce delegation to Indonesia in 2016. The Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah will encourage the related parties in Indonesia to follow-up on the MoU that has been signed together during the 2016 visit of which there is yet no further action apparent..
Mecca Chamber of Commerce also expressed its readiness to facilitate Indonesian entrepreneurs who will participate in various exhibitions in Saudi Arabia, to have meetings with businessmen in the region of the Mecca Chamber of Commerce. Therefore, Mecca Chamber of Commerce offers the use of exhibition space as large as 10.000m2, if Indonesian businessmen are interested to conduct exhibitions and promotions.
Mecca Chamber of Commerce planned to organize the entrepreneurs in the western region of Saudi Arabia to make a visit to Indonesia for the second time. The visit will take place after the election of the new Chairman of Mecca Chamber of Commerce around the month of Muharram (September-October 2017). The Mecca Chamber of Commerce expects the assistance from the Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah to facilitate the delegations to meet with the related parties in Indonesia.
