Meeting between President of the Republic of Indonesia and President of the European Council

The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo had a meeting with the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, in Jakarta on 19 December 2014. This is the first time the President of the European Council visited Indonesia.

“Impromptu Visit” Concept Could be Used to Combat Human Smuggling

Legian, Bali. Human smuggling flares up from time to time. Many times, Indonesian citizens are involved. The cure, among others, is through impromptu visit concept. This was conveyed by Director General of Multilateral Affairs of Foreign Ministry, Hasan Kleib in the opening of Regional Workshop on Irregular Migration through Effective Campaign (19/11) in Legian Bali. This event was attended by 53 representatives from 9 countries and international organizations.
