Furthermore, a letter of assignment for a person in charge of the echelon II official was announced in the event.

Responding to news of the opening of the "Free West Papua office" in Oxford, England, Indonesian government expressed strong protest and object onto the development. "On our instructions, the Inddonesian ambassador in London has expressed the stance of the Government to the British Government", said Foreign Minister, RM Marty M. Natalegawa in Jakarta this afternoon (04/05). The same thing will be done to the British embassy in Jakarta.

Efforts to enhance bilateral relations between Indonesia and Colombia have been continually made by various stakeholders of the two countries. To make them more focused and coordinated, the two countries agreed to hold the first Joint Commission Meeting, in Bogota, Colombia (03/05). Director-General of America and Europe, Ambassador Dian Triansyah Djani, led the Indonesian delegates at the meeting, while the Colombian delegates led by Deputy Foreign Minister Monica Lanzetta Mutis.

In moving forward into ASEAN 2015, the ASEAN Economic Community Pillar has reached a significant progress. In the 22nd ASEAN Summit yesterday (24-25/04), it was reported that ASEAN reached 77.54% action lines of all 259 measures from the Blue Print of economic pillars. This was what then pushed President SBY to establish the National Committee in order to guarantee Indonesia’s readiness.
