??Beirut: On Monday (06/30/2014) the Indonesian Embassy in Beirut promotes one of the archipelago’s culinary special fried rice (Nasi Goreng Spesial) for the coverage of Taste & Flavors Food Magazine, Lebanese culinary magazine in English language. The event took place in the Garden of the Sursock Palace, Aschrafieh, Beirut.

 

In the event the special fried rice or Nasi Goreng Spesial was displayed attractively in a large decorative plate. The selection of Nasi Goreng Spesial for the magazine’s coverage was because Nasi Goreng Spesial is one of the easiest Indonesian food to be cooked, servedbut very popular in the Western people, especially in the Netherlands.

 

And also considers the availability of spices in which we can find it in the Lebanese market. That’s why the Embassy chose Nasi Goreng Spesial as a perfect food to be introduced for the first time to Lebanese people.

 

The event begins with a short interview session by Mrs. Annie Dilsizian from the magazine to the wife of Indonesian Ambassador Mrs. Supiyati Dimas, and then followed with a food photo session together. Also participating in this event was wives of the Chilli Ambassador, Italian Ambassador, and Romania Ambassador.

 

In the interview Mrs. Supiyati Dimas briefly describe the process of making the food, cooking methods and information on needed ingredients/spices, and all of which can be find in the Lebanese market.

 

Food photo session was done in a neat and attractive by magazine photographers, and is located in the garden’s courtyard, and giving the impression of natural and healthy. ?
