Remarkable Indonesia Showcase 2013: Indonesia Elevates Diversity Fined Quality Products

Bangkok, 7 October 2013 - The Embassy of the Republic of  Indonesia in Bangkok is proud to introduce “Remarkable Indonesia Showcase 2013” from 7 to 10 October 2013 at Eden I, CentralWorld Bangkok, Thailand.

 

During the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand, Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Bebeb A.K.N Djundjunan on his welcoming remarks stated that “the event is an effort to increase the promotion of Indonesia’s Trade, Tourism and Investment in Thailand. The ‘Remarkable Indonesia Showcase 2013’ is an opportunity and iconic event that showcases a variety of fined quality products, cultural performances and fashion show from Indonesian professional designers and dancers”.

 

Qualified products were displayed in four zones, namely, Fashion Zone, Home Decoration Zone, Food and Beverages Zone, and Information Zone. The event are participated by 25 participants, among others were A.P. Qglass Co., Ltd., Ani Moenda, Bali Gallery, Batik Chic, Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board, Investment and Promotion Board of Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Dominion Chemmet Co., Ltd., Elzatta Hijab, Garuda Indonesia, Inbisco Co., Ltd., Indonesian House, Ketut Putra Silver, Naputo Bali, Perum Perhutani, Polytron (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Prim Batik, PT. KI-Antaka Rasa, PT. Palawi Risorsis, PT. Sumatera Promotion Centre, PT. Widaya Inti Plasma, Shafira, Trade and Industry Board of Provincial Government of Samarinda City, UD. Suryana, Trade Industry and Cooperative Board of Provincial Government of Bantul City and Zainal Songket.

 

The event is expected to attract more than 1.000 buyers within four days of exhibition, and visitors are welcome to indulge a range of product from Batik, Songket, Muslim apparels, leather snake and rattan accessories, jewelry, handicraft, sculpture, furniture, Luwak coffee, tea, seasonings, instant noodles, snacks and sweets, to information on tourism and investment.

 

The opening ceremony was cheered with traditional dance performances from Indonesia School of Bangkok and Indra Kusuma Dance Company. The opening also introduced Indonesian traditional and modern Batik, Songket and Muslim apparels from well-known designers. Last but not least, Lucky Draws were present to entertain the crowd.

 

Through participation in this exhibition, The Embassy of Indonesia hopes that the people of Thailand will set more acquaintances with the bounty of Indonesian diversity fined quality products.
