The Ambasasdor, Mr. Lutfi Rauf hoped that the Indonesian Study Center in Burapha University could increase the relationship and cooperation that will benefit both Indonesia and Thailand, especially in the field of education. Those wishes are conveyed when the Ambassador, Mr. Lutfi Rauf inaugurates the Indonesian Study Center with the President of the Burapha University, Prof. Sompol Pongthai, and the entire civitas academica on April 23 2012.

Indonesian Study Center in Burapha University is expected to be the center to find more information regarding Indonesia, and as the center for developing cooperation in the east of Thiland. Previously, a similar activity by Ambassador Mr. Lutfi Rauf was held in Mae Fah Luang University, north of Thailand. The Ambassador also stressed the need to keep and maintain the activities in Indonesian study center in universities in Thailand.

In that occasion, the Ambassador Mr. Lutfi Rauf also had a chance to meet and discuss with the Indonesian college students who studies in Burapha University. The college students utilize this meeting with the Ambassador as a chance to consult and convey the study problems faced by the students. Right now, there are 25 Indonesian students registered in Burapha University, ranging from Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Doctorate Degree.
