Visit to Kampong Tamoi Ujong

​​The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Mission and staffs of the Embassy paid a visit to Kampung Tamoi Ujong, one of the water villages on 19th May, 2015

 
Her Excellency and the entourage were cordially received by Haji Mohd. Zahari bin Adis, Timbalan Pengerusi Kampong Tamof Ujong whom hosted the event at his residence. The Ambassador also met with Pg. Hj. Abas bin Pg. Hi Besar, Pengerusi and Penasihat from the Forum Silaturahmi Keraton Nusantara (FSKN) Brunei Darussalam along with other members of FSKN. Throughout the visit, Her Excellency held a discussion with the community of Kampung Tamoi Ujong and representatives from FSKN about the historical link and richness of the Indonesian and Bruneian culture. The meeting also discussed about potential economic cooperation and ways to actively promote people-to-people contact between Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.
 
The Embassy hoped that the visit has not only strengthened the social ties between the Embassy and the community of the water village in Brunel but also fostered a deeper social and cultural understanding between Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.
