Small World 2011 in Lagos

On February 19, 2011 has been held Small World 2011 event organized by the International Women's Organisation for Charity at the British International School in Lagos, Nigeria. The event was attended by about 2500 people was started at 6 pm with the opening of the food booths and beverages from 21 countries and 7 organizations participated. Then the show continued with art and dance performances and various countries in the stage that has been provided. Indonesia participated in this event in cooperation with the Indonesian community in Nigeria is wellknown by the Indonesian Community of Nigeria (ICON), which features food booths Indonesia in the form of chicken satay, compact rice, bakwan and food and beverage typical of other Indonesian. Indonesia also participated in presenting a blend of Indonesian dance jaipong and Pendet in art and dance performances on stage. Indonesia had a turn appear after Nigeria's first appearance at the start of the event which lasted until midnight. Festive and lively event, which ended with fireworks. Small World event is routinely conducted annually since 1996 and in 2011 it succeeded in collecting funds for 32 million naira (US $ 208198,-) to be donated as a donation to some orphanages LAGOS area.
