The Ministry to Send Special Team to Malaysia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set a special team to collect facts and to deal with the case the death of 3 migrant workers in Malaysia. In the interview with the local media at Gedung Pancasila, Minister Marty M Natalegawa stated that the team will depart to Kuala Lumpur this evening (24/4/2012).
 
The team consists of Ministerial Expert Staff on Institutional Relations, the Director of Legal Affairs and an official from Directorate of Indonesian Citizens Protection.
 
According to Marty, the Special Team was established not only to obtain comprehensive information, but also constituted the Ministry’s concern and sympathy to the family of the victims.
 
"What is needed now is a manifestation of our concern and sympathy for the families because they are the ones who feel the deepest sorrow for what has happened," said Marty. (Source: Dit. Infomed / PY)
